3 Best Areas to Stay in Huntsville (+ Recommended Hotels)

A. Downtown Huntsville

A large pond with a fountain in the middle and lots of buildings around the
  edge.

Downtown Huntsville is a charming blend of small town and big city (although, to be fair, the “big city” aspect still isn’t all that big!)

Downtown Huntsville is a charming combination of historical homes, up and coming trendy areas, and charming streets. Here, you can explore locally made art and crafts at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, relax at Big Spring Park, which has weekend concerts throughout the summer, attend shows and events at the Von Braun Center, and learn at the Huntsville Museum of Art or the Alabama Constitution Hall Park.

The atmosphere in downtown Huntsville is lively and welcoming. Locally owned restaurants, cafes, and shops line the clean and pretty streets. Flowerpots line the streets in summer, and a host of murals can be discovered peaking out the sides of buildings. In the evenings, bars and breweries highlight local music and craft beers.

If you want to stay in the most happening part of Huntsville, this is the place to be.
